Needed Collagen

If there’s one thing stylist, skincare aficionado and mom, Djuna Bel Rowe knows, it’s how to blend style, wellness, and motherhood into one effortlessly chic package. The secret behind her radiant glow? A skincare routine that starts from the inside out—including these collagen-packed marshmallows.

Soft, pillowy, and just sweet enough, these marshmallows are infused with Needed’s Collagen for a skin-loving boost. They’re free from processed sugar and artificial extras making them the perfect indulgence for both you and your little ones. Here’s how Djuna makes them:

Ingredients

  • Coconut oil (for prepping)
  • Arrowroot powder (for dusting)
  • 6 tbsp gelatin
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 2 scoops Needed Collagen
  • ¾ cup maple syrup
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract (or your favorite flavor)

How to Make Them

  1. Prep your dish by greasing it with coconut oil and lightly dusting with arrowroot powder.
  2. Mix the collagen base: In a bowl, combine gelatin, warm water, and Needed Collagen. Let it bloom.
  3. Make the syrup: In a saucepan, heat maple syrup and water until boiling. Let it bubble for 3 minutes.
  4. Combine: Reduce heat to low, then stir in the collagen mixture.
  5. Whisk it up: Keep whisking over heat until fully combined. Then, using a hand mixer, whip the mixture for about 10 minutes until fluffy.
  6. Flavor it: Add vanilla extract (or experiment with almond, cinnamon, or peppermint for a twist).
  7. Set & chill: Pour the mixture into your prepped dish and refrigerate for 3–5 hours.

Once set, slice, dust with extra arrowroot if needed, and enjoy! Whether you’re sneaking one as a midday treat or sharing with your kids, these marshmallows are the perfect mix of indulgence and skin-boosting benefits.
