A Cozy Afternoon Pick-Me-Up for Moms: Collagen Cacao Frothy Milk

If the afternoon slump hits hard (and perhaps your toddler just dumped out a box of cereal), this simple drink might be your new favorite ritual. It’s creamy, chocolatey, and just sweet enough to feel like a treat, without the sugar or caffeine crash. Plus, it delivers a gentle boost of Collagen and calm in one cozy mug.

Perfect for when you've had enough coffee but need something more than water and someone else's leftovers.

Ingredients:

  • 1 scoop Needed Collagen

  • 1 tablespoon cacao powder

  • 1 cup milk of choice (I use half coconut, half almond for richness)

  • A few drops of monkfruit or sweetener of your choice

Directions:

  1. In your favorite mug or small bowl, whisk together the collagen, cacao powder, and ¼ cup of your milk until smooth. This step helps dissolve the powders before adding the rest of the liquid.

  2. Heat the remaining ¾ cup milk until warm and steamy, but not boiling.

  3. Froth the warm milk using a handheld frother or whisk until light and foamy.

  4. Slowly pour the frothed milk over the chocolate mixture, give it a gentle stir, and sip slowly. Bonus points if you get a quiet moment to yourself.
