Why do you offer Choline separately from your Prenatal Multi?

95%+ of mothers are not meeting their Choline needs. The RDA or daily minimum is 450mg/550mg while pregnant/nursing, and research suggests that consuming upwards of 900mg in pregnancy supports optimal perinatal and infant health outcomes.* Choline is not found abundantly in many foods, so many mothers can benefit from a supplement. For optimal absorption, we suggest taking no more than 500mg of Choline in one serving (at one time) across all of your products. Spreading supplementation out throughout the day can improve absorption.

How do I know how much Choline I need?

Your Choline supplement needs may vary by day depending on what you eat and what other supplements you take.

The RDA (Recommended Dietary Allowance) is 450mg/550mg while pregnant/nursing, though research suggests that upwards of 900mg in pregnancy supports optimal perinatal and infant health outcomes. The tolerable upper limit for Choline is set to 3,500mg per day, so taking additional Choline is quite safe, and may further benefit the health of you and your baby.*
